How do you pronunciate word "Lineage" ?

Sooo, I'm exited how do to pronunciate word "Lineage" because:

 

- One side told me, that pronunciation of Lineage is typical pronunciation as [Layneyj]

- Second side told me, that special exception and it should be pronounced as [lineyj] or [Lyneyj]

 

The difference is about "LI" and "LAY". I'm just interrested.

 

I'm pronunciate it as the first, [Layneyj].

i pronounce it as ncs soft does...

in all korean videos the word Lineage2 is pronounced lyniej

plus i was speaking on css on an american server and when i said "do u play lainage?" they told me "what is that?" and for last i asked my mother  (she is from canada) and she tolds me that in this game the second option prounounce fits better^^ i know what the word means and it does fit for l2 but i cant explain...
