Lineage 2 Server Status Check

Hello,

Me and my friend are trying to start a server but I've come across one problem and it looks like I will need your help. For some reason i cannot connect the php code for status check with the server. Even if i connect it it says its offline. So I have a question. Do the website with the code for status check and the lineage 2 server itself have to be on one host? Can it be done for example if the website is on one host and the server is hosted somewhere else? Thank you in advance and sorry for the pathetic post.

Most hosts disable socket detecting etc. thats why it doesnt work. You could install a webserver on your server machine and then do an iframe of the status check on your website.
