Hello ppl,

I recently decided to re-join l2 developing community and im interested in Client Moding.

When i was active, 1-2 years back, really lots of ppl where sharing things here,now i can see only a few keep doing it

mostly new ppl...its like community died on this section...i searched it a bit and i found out why this is happening....

I was trying to find a guide on how to creat a custom armor and then import it into the server and as you can see on the link below there was so freaking many of them.... now none of the links works...they were deleted....also i found 2 guides with dead pics..

So that would be great if you could make a guide showing how to make a new custom armor and weap import it etc...

you can start learn basics of 3ds max if you want to import new stuff in game

learn use the umodel + gui and how to set textures and models in UnrealEd

 

aniway those are time consuming to make allone

Its actually a bit hard to do so... :P

All im saying is that it would be great if someone could make a complete guide on how to make an armor...

I mean there are daily shares for armors and staff,you could just record your screen for what you are doing...

Some time ago, I was asking what can be done with special tool provided by Glidor and people told me it's for armors. So before you will start learning making armors (all this 3ds things and texturing), I guess you have to obtain this tool or Special Unreal 2004 Patched Editor which is able to save animated mesh as .ukx file suported by L2.

Ok, but we have to say it: without glidor tool you cannot make armor, so if you havent it, just give up this idea.

you cannot make new model armors but you can combine and retexture existing ones if you can't have gildor

i tink the accesoryes and weapons can be made with OAUKX

Well, for people like you gildor don't give a fuck about the L2 modding scene. No offense ^^U.

 

If you don't have the money, then don't do armors and animated stuff. Maybe the tool becomes free in a future, but I don't think so.

Huh...sure...i can pay for it,but i don't want to pay.

 

ppl use programs like 3dsmax,photoshop etc...all they cracked,so why i can't try to get this one free like others,and yeah,i don't give a "f*ck" like you said about him,you or anyone thinks about me (no offense...)

Not big loss since l2 modding scene is dead, also because l2 is getting less famous each year. Few people know how to make customs, and they sell them what generally means if Glidor will stop support l2 they will suffer the most.

i tink gildor is the selected few ho knows unreal code like eating chocolate and we must thank him for making the tools plus mabe if we suport him he will make the Editor for L][neage coz i know he mabe can crack and make the original Editor ncsoft is using to develop the game
