R/CnC My First Touch In Photoshop

After paying for a banner and watching how its structure is,i tried to make my own too. Well,its kinda ugly,but it's my first touch on Photoshop & i want to keep it up and get improved day by day..

 

 

So i want some advices on how i could get improved,what kind of tutorials to watch? where i can get some resources like Glows/Lightings & other effects used in Photoshop?

also where can i find wallpapers used for Lineage? Thanks to whoever will reply/help me with things that may be small for him but will be a big step for me :)
