ericvini Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) Hello, I'm trying to do this method here: http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/118189-guide-how-to-edit-loading-screen-step-by-step/?hl=%2Bimport+%2Bl2font as it seems you can't simply edit the .tga files and ask to reencode them. However, when I try to open the texture in unreal editor (already clean), it crashes: No LabelOS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7601)CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 3510 MHz with 4095MB RAMVideo: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series (1247)Texture L2Font-e.Font.SmallFont-e: Serial size mismatch: Got 58, Expected 131349History: LoadObject <- (Texture L2Font-e.Font.SmallFont-e 2287==2287/40431469 2229 131349) <- ULinkerLoad::Preload <- PreLoadObjects <- UObject::EndLoad <- UObject::LoadPackage <- UEditorEngine::SafeExec <- (LOAD FILE="K:\Downloads\Editing textures\Editing textures\Editing textures\L2Font-e.clear.utx") <- UEditorEngine::SafeExec <- (OBJ LOAD FILE="K:\Downloads\Editing textures\Editing textures\Editing textures\L2Font-e.clear.utx") <- UEditorEngine::Exec <- (OBJ LOAD FILE="K:\Downloads\Editing textures\Editing textures\Editing textures).. <- UUnrealEdEngine::Exec <- WBrowserTexture::OnCommand <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- UEditorEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop I'm trying to modify the file from freya (not sure if it matters) Any ideas about what am I doing wrong? edit: same error using the gracia final l2font file. Its clean AND passed by l2tool.exe Edited March 16, 2014 by ericvini
marialeonmar Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 That method can be used only at interlude. The upper chronicles gots protection on utxs files and cant be edited.

ericvini Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) How could I remake the .utx file then? Could you point me to a guide? I managed to extract every texture file there is. Thanks. Oh sorry, only now I noticed that ur seling it. Edited March 16, 2014 by ericvini
ericvini Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) Found this: http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/176941-high-five-utx-unrealed/ I can see the textures on it. How do I import/replace something? Also, whatever I extract is blank. Edited March 16, 2014 by ericvini
ericvini Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 This: http://www.maxcheaters.com/topic/38912-share-guidect23custom-loading-screen-loading/?hl=encode You can use the unrealeditor with those files.

ericvini Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) yes the games brightness is not ur actual desktops one. its always brighter by standart. so be aware of this ;) Thank, I will darken the image then, any idea about how much brighter, in %, the game is? I took a printscreen of the game to show, but the shot has perfect brightness... lol Btw, I removed every game tip/advice, but I cant find where the "Useful Information" title is stored. Any ideas? http://i89.servimg.com/u/f89/11/39/87/02/loadin12.jpg (not my image) Edited March 16, 2014 by ericvini
ericvini Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 system/gametip-e.dat Did that, As I said, I could remove every tip, but not the "Useful Information" title
snifi Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) there should be two dat files for systemmessages....something like system/sysmsg-e.dat. i forgot the name of the other file, but its named nearly the same. u can find it in one of them. open them and search for useful information. replace useful information with " " (Space). ^^ Edited March 17, 2014 by snifi
ericvini Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 Ty, gonna search for it. Update later today.
