i select the areas that i wanna delete and instead of deleting, the cropped area turns to white, BUT ITS STILL IMAGE its not only the thing i wanna put in my signature, you understand it now?

yes... just delete it twice... and then it becomes transparent :D

Maybe I could post something better for the more complicated backrounds etc.I just don't have time.By the way your job is great and it can really help newbies to make a good-looking simple image.

nice tut for beginners tnx man! i think you need to show them more trick like brushes. like you can take the brush and make many paints with multipale kind of brushes in diffrent color(usual better colors like the picture you choose) than delet some of the brushes with brush and in the end you get intersting background.

I'm used to do signatures with Corel Draw and Corel Photopaint, but I switched to CS3 and now I'm learning how to do it, thanks for your guide ! ^_^

when i try to cut my background it gets some of my pic!!maybe i do wrong tool! which tool i can use or tell me a shortcut!! :S i did 1 sign but i don't like it much xD
