Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Observation.

I formated my os particion yesterday and i noticed after installing sp1 for windows 7 things became a bit slower. Notice that it was still a fresh install, only new apps i had installed was firefox at the time. With sp1, firefox took at least 1500ms to 2000ms more to start. After uninstalling sp1 things became a lot faster. Whats your thoughts about this?

Tried restarting at least 3 times, it was the same. After uninstalling sp1 this morning the overall speed has improved.

I didn't know this because I have too...

But From Service Pack? 

If that is true just install the main version without Sp1.

Yeah as i said i uninstalled the service pack 1 and its all good now. Its just weird for me because i though service pack 1 should improve things but in my case it was the opposite.

improve ofc, but improvements require resources.

never in this life you will see a software were you add things and it will use less resources.

500gb hdd western digital  7200 rpm

buy a ssd, another 4 gb ram and you might feel no difference with sp1 xDd

Hehe, didnt thought about it like that. Probably you are right. However im just fine without sp1, thanks.
