As expected Activision have officially confirmed Wolfenstein at this year's E3. :D

The game will have 'class-based team objective gameplay with a full arsenal of conventional and supernatural weapons for addictive online warfare' and 'intense, story-driven combat'.

Set within a near-fictional, historical WWII setting, players take on the role of the heroic OSA agent BJ Blazkowicz as they are thrust into the unknown and unexpected to battle against combat troops, otherworldly forces, and the dark science created by a supernatural Nazi force hell-bent on world domination.

In addition to id Software, a new company will be co-developing Raven Software's Wolfenstein. UK-based Endrant Studios will be focusing primarily on multiplayer development. Made up of established developers from within the industry, Wolfenstein will be the firm's first project.

Wolfenstein is currently being developed for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No release date has been given yet.

i have play all wolfenstain seens i had 4 or 5 years (i still remember the 1 version ^.^)

 

this looks good , there is always some nazy bussines and some lazer gun on each version xD

Wolfenstein and some other games that got out in the same period of time marked the game's evolution...2nd world war fps games are now famous because of those!

Yeah I remember wolfenstein as the father of the shooters. Then came Doom and Duke Nukem. These are the same guys back then or just the same name ?
