If you gonna be sponsor of the server you're dreaming of, I'll make a playable server

and the second problem is that

 

THE MONEY !!!

 

for a server you will need at least 500€ to rent developer to make the pack you want,hosts,protections etc.

I don't have the money and the knowledge to create a simple server!

i just bored to play on servers that i play for a long time and then some day just close..

like old L2 Gang (epilogue) L2FreePvP (epilogue) and one more freya but i don't remember the name..i was 7,8 months on gang and one day just close..

that's why i can't find one good server for me..i want to have people cauz w/o people we don't have fun and to be a serius project..that's all i don't ask crazy things!

 

solution: dont play on such servers, if you see a server with a greek admin(sry but thats a sad fact) leave right away because the server will close and open with a new name in near the future. As for other server, look at more sites not just hopzone and you'll be amazed how many good servers you can find.

Thats not true, i can get you a pc with corei7 and 16gb ram + best connection in europe for 49€ in a month and as for a developer find your own dont need to pay one.

I think he was talking about ddos protection which is a major problem nowadays for private servers.

Damn ppl still dont get it, its NOT DDoS its just packet vulnerability nobody spend truckloads of money just to shut down a crappy shitlude server with 70 player on it(taking away offline shops and dual boxes). You dont need DDoS protection for an l2j server. :D

Guys was paying 300 euros and up only for ddos protection and others who didn't ,were closing their server,good servers too.

For a good pack you need 100e, maximum.

 

To keep the server away from being ddosed from skids you need ~200-250 euro per month.

Another ~100 euro for a decent machine.

 

The sum would be 350 euro, which isn't much, if you got more than 10 people who're willing to pay every month per 20e, just to keep the server alive for a long time.

 

There's no perfect server. In most cases people make the server, not the pack.

 

When you find 2 or more equal clans, who'll fight for a castle with low items, then you've succeeded.

Its still about those flooder programs that people create so they can kill the competition, i guess you still remember to the guys who shared and made those flooders so everyone can use it, they said its DDoS yet its nothing more than a packet flooder concentrated to 1 vulnerability of an l2j pack :)

Exactly but these servers dont get a DDoS attack, its just a packet flood nothing more :)

dude who will find 350 euro so easy?

i am w/o job and taking money from my father and my mother that's why i say it's hard..

and donations will take for 10,15 ppls if server is good and then some more if server be "popular" if not you just waste free 350 euros that you don't have..
