rapid fire do this:

Temporarily increases your P. Atk. and Atk. Spd. when using a bow. While in effect, your firing range decreases. Requires a bow. Effect 5.

it never makes u get stuck in the ground :S so why take off your bow if u can still keep moving and shoting at your enemy (¿O.o?)
