Did someone try to play ranked games? One friend played one game but he got elo. Is the new system available?

But it's not applied yet, is it? gold rank is included in the new ranked system... am I mistaken?

Will the ranks/borders of your account get updated when they change to the new ranked system, it will they remain the same?
