That would be stupid, thats why the game is unique it gives players different gameplay experiences.

 

Balance doesn't mean make them the same!

They should fix the broken meta - if you watch dota2 tours and streams you'll realise the meta is boring and static, people pick 20 out of 90+ heroes in DotA because those are the heroes that are worth playing. Why on earth would you pick sniper in a tour over phantom lancer?

 

Lancer has : CC+escape+early nuke+highest agility gain+illusions (hard to focus)+passive magic resistance

Sniper has : unreliable slow, unreliable minibash, no escape, average agility gain

 

so why would you pick sniper instead of lancer in a serious game?

that's right, you cant.

 

I can give you numerous examples of the same shit for Dota2.
