[help]custom looking dualswords

hello, let me explain simply and fast what i'm looking for, i'm just an amateur with the l2file edit.

 

my idea was to make a custom pair of duals, a modification of the normal eternal core dual sword,

i've been trying for a while now some string changes inside the l2file edit but the result i got was 1 normal eternal core sword and 1 full GREY sword on the other hand (like when you got no textures for the weap) with just external form of eternal core sword, my question is, what's wrong with it? the textures are the same for both weapons and when i saw that error i couldn't make up my mind, here are the original and edited  strings of eternal core duals inside the weapongrp.dat.

 

I hope someone with higher experience than me can help me to solve this problem, i've see many times dual zariche, dual dragonslayer, so i guess my idea is realizable

the file is working correctly, i can login and get no errors but i have a visual bug for the off-hand eternal core sword as i already said, please tell me if there is any error here, or, if there isn't any, what might the problem be.

in the original string this _wp isnt found, are you sure that is the problem? because i've tried what u wrote but the result was both swords grey. Do you mind writing the whole correct string please?

NB : im just editing straight from my system folder, nothing to do with the server, might be that the problem? dunno if u got what I mean

 

Dunno, _wp versus _t00 is a difference. If shader ends with t00_wp (which is usual) it is it. Actually it might just be both too_wp

if you check carefully the original string, sometimes there is just t00 without _wp and sometimes there is _wp, since the code looks right i guess it could be a server problem?

 

So did you try both of them as LineageWeapons.IncessantCore_Sword_m00_wp? Server wouldn't be a problem, it doesnt handle textures or 'connect' it (or does it... dont think so tho)

I guess if nothing works a alternative would be to make a new texture on the Incessant Core (you can export with umodel and view the retail properties with utpt)
