Gradient map[help]

why the fuck my gradient map isnt working ?! i am using ps cs5(i think u dont need photo).It doesnt show me any error just it dont work.

Any screenshot? Basically, you create a layer with a image inside you select graident map > color of gradient > and choose the style you want to do for example soft light , linear burn and etc.

ye ye , lock it i solved that prob just i had to reset and re-load my custom gradients
