Dafuq is wrong with my ping?

So my normal ping is always around 60-80. But from the afternoon I keep getting some really high ping peaks for no reason. It starts at 60-70 then every 3 min or so it bursts off to 500+ then drops off to 60-70. What's wrong? ;s

I have the same problem, in the last game I played I got 4-5 disconnects and generally I couldn't play at all.

called lag spikes

probably riot problem, since a lot of people had lag spikes today

 

So for how long do  these "lag spikes" last?
