Cookieeee
Power off both computers completely. Connect one end of the Lan cable to the Ethernet network port on the back of one of the computers. Run the cable across to the other computer, and connect the other end into the computer's Ethernet port Turn both of the computers back on :D go to Control Panel scroll down through the list of options, and click on the icon "System" a new window to pop up asking if you want to proceed, and click on the "Continue" button. Scroll down to the "Computer Name" heading, and write down the entry listed under "Workgroup." Go to the second computer...Control Panel,Scroll down to the Computer Name heading, and click on the "Change" button. Type in the work group name you wrote down earlier in the "Workgroup" text box. Click on the "Apply" button. Restart the computer to save the workgroup change. When both computers are on the same workgroup, need to set IP Addresses. In Control Panel, Open Network Settings. Right click on Local Area Connections and select properties. Under the heading "This connection uses the following items, Find Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Highlight it, Make sure you don't untick the box, and click on properties Under the heading Use the following IP Address ENter in the Following on ONE Computer. IP Address 192.168.0.10 Subnet Mask ............... Default Gateway LEave Blank Under the Heading Obtain DNS Serveraddress automatically Set this to Automatic. Don't enter anything in.
