MaxCheaters.com for 2 weeks now is under DDos attack, known as Botnet , causing mysql,and apache to lag. I have spent a lot of time trying the best software filters, without 100% success. mod_evasive, mod_security, cloudflare proxies, csf firewall, apf iptables rules,ddos deflate, and nginx with sphinx, memcached , mysql optimizations , innodb tables, doesnt help at all.CPU load still goes to 150-200%.

The forum is running on a Quad 6600 CPU , with 4GB Ram , CentOS , and basic hardware firewall.The server currently costs 229$/month , cpanel licence 35$/month, without counting paid developers for managing linux,smf forum monthly.

If the attack continues , unfortunately this forum will discontinue. I dont have more time to spent.

      All links at http://akumu.ru return 503 and most  mega upload dont exist. Any idea if this will get fixed?
