Vkouk Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Hello, almost before a week i bought a phone.I recharge it till a message showed up saying "Battery is full".It took about 2 hours?Dont remember, then i removed it and i start playing with my phone.Till now my battery phone can be used only for 1 day. BUT,all day i dont touch my phone and my battery from 98 goes to 14 %. Anyone knows what to do? Quote

Hli4Snet Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 i got samsung galaxy s i9000 root your phone if you haven't already root it. and then Download Battery Calibration: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration Run the app and follow the steps from the app. this will extend your battery life. Hli4Snet Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 what that app does and how helps my battery and root it?what d oyou mean?i am not so good with those phones root its like having admin rights on your phone.. this application delete the file with the battery stats so your phone OS will create a new one. its like battery stats reset. PS: I would recommend you first to download a task manager for your phone to kill the apps that you are not using and a startup manger to remove some apps from starting every time you open your phone. also since your phone its new and you bought before one week you go to the shop you have bought and ask them you check your batery maybe your battery has a problem and not your phone.
