hi every1 :P

I am downloading mysql 5.0 and trying to install it at windows Vista...

well...,i am starting the install...and near in the end it says configure mysql now, i press finish and it doesn't show me the window

to configure mysql  :-\

i have this prob only at vista..at xP it shows me normally the window for config...

any1 know what i have to to do ???

yeah i know Find the new version of MSQL the latest for now is the 5.1.1 so find it and try it..

My Friend Found MySQL 6

But He Got An Error....

I Dont Know Further More...

the 5.0 and the 5.1 should work 100% on vista.

 

and, an advise : DON'T change your XP for the Shitty VISTA. trust me. you will have the HALF (-50%) of the performance you have now with XP.

Well,,actually they dont work :/ you can't make the config

I agree with godofaden (aka:ekoice) somewhen i had vista too..I tested MySQL 5.0 there and it worked like a charm..I don't know why it doesn't work for u.
