mVecAtoR Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Hello guys this is my first LoL guide. There is a temple hidden in the mountains between Noxus and the Tempest Flats, where the secrets of an ancient and terrifying sorcery are kept. The area surrounding the temple is littered with the exsanguinated corpses of those who have mistakenly wandered too close. These served only to pique the curiosity of Vladimir, when – in his youth – he trekked through these mountains during his flight from Noxus. A day earlier, the teenaged Vladimir had brutally murdered two boys his age, for no better reason than to enjoy the intoxicating scarlet bloom that surged forth. He realized immediately that he would never be able to suppress his murderous desires, and if he remained in Noxus, his foul deeds were sure to catch up with him. Without hesitation, he abandoned the city-state, and journeyed south. The trail of bodies led him to a crumbling stone temple. Inside he found an aging monk who appraised him with eyes of pure crimson. Vladimir surprised the monk by returning the wicked gaze with zeal. Recognizing the boy’s sinister craving, the monk taught Vladimir how to manipulate and control the fluid of life, often practicing on passing travelers. When it came time for Vladimir to learn the final lesson, the monk warned that failure would result in death. Vladimir did not fail, but success bore a grisly surprise. During the ritual, every drop of the monk’s blood was drawn from his body and fused with Vladimir’s, imbuing him with his master's magical essence, and that of every hemomancer before him. Left alone and suddenly without purpose, Vladimir resolved to return to Noxus, demanding enrollment in the League to prove the supremacy of his craft. When the Noxian High Command observed the gruesome fates which befell the palace guards, they elected to avail themselves of Vladimir’s unsavory talents. A few words about Vladmir Vladmir is a Caster/Tank champion who can be very deadly against almost all enemy champions. I recommend to go to mid every time you play with him because he really rocks at 1v1, especially after level 6. Just remember that Vladmir doesn't use mana in order to cast his skills but health. Skills Crimson Pact (Passive): Every 40 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 1.8 bonus health (does not stack with itself). Transfusion (Active): Vladimir drains the lifeforce of his target, dealing magic damage and healing himself (after dealing damage). -No cost Sanguine Pool (Active): Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 2 seconds, becoming untargetable and slowing enemies above him by 40% for 1 second, and deals magic damage over the duration plus heals himself for 12.5% of that amount. -Cost: 20% of current health Tides of Blood (Active): Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. Each cast gives him an Empowered stack (max 4), increasing his healing and regeneration by 8% per stack for 10 seconds. Additionally, his next tides of Blood deals 25% more damage and costs 50% more health per stack. -Cost: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 Health Hemoplague (Ultimate,Active): Vladimir infects the target area with a virulent plague which increases the damage nearby enemies take from all sources by 14% for 5 seconds. After these 5 seconds, infected enemies take magic damage. -Cost: 15% of current health Built Start the game with a Regrowth Pendant Then purchase Sorcerer's Shoes for Magic Penetration or purchase Ionian Boots Of Lucidity for your cooldowns. Continue with a Warmog's Armor After that a Rylai's Crystal Scepter is very good because it slows your enemies with your abilities. Continue with a Rabadon's Deathcap in order to increase your AP and your Health(with the passive) a lot. Then, you can continue with a Void Staff or with an Abyssal Scepter Finally for last item buy a Spirit Visage to increase your health(mr too) and to decrease your cooldowns. This is the build that I use for Vladmir Notes -Have in mind that when you are in Sanguine Pool, you cannot stop Fiddlestick's drain if he had already casted on you and you cannot stop ignite either. -Remember that when you are in Sanguine Pool you cannot use abilities, spells and items. -At last when you are in Sanguine Pool, area abilities can deal damage to you. Strategy When you are in team battles try to have all Tides of Blood stacks in order ti deal more damage and regenerate your health faster. Use Transfusion to low your opponent 's life and heal yourself. Try to cast Hemoplague (in team fight) when it will hit many enemies for sure. Then you can easily score double or triple kill ;) Use Sanguine Pool to slow your enemies and help your team to make easy kills. Sanguine Pool can be used in order to escape if you are in trouble. Masteries The masteries I use are 9 at Offense and 21 at Defense. Runes I use Magic Penetration,Ability Power runes (They are not completed yet). I hope you will find my guide helpful :D And don't forget: “That which runs through you will run you through.” Quote

Noble® Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 tanky vlads ceased to exist since karma input patch....building a warmogs and rylais and void staff are not really needed imo...cuz skills cost a lot of hp and a madred carrier can kick you easily!!! visage is also unnecessary for me because you dont rely on healing that much...mid-late game you cant rely on draining hp i would choose zyonas hourglass(for armor and 100ap + 2nd invul) mejais for ap and hp especially if you gang and kill early(tome from the beginning instead of pendant since you can regain hp from lvl1) or haunting guise for ap,magic pen void staff only if they build magic resist ;) otherwise prefer zyona hourglass Quote
`Rοmeο Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 give credits... and it is fail guide ... you dont give many information Quote
PwNNNz0r.^ Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I kinda agree with noble, especially with the starting items. I always start with a tome and 1x healing potion, i continue with the soulstealer and the sorceror shoes, and then i go for the rylais and after the deathcap or the zyonas hourglass, depends on my enemies, and if the game will last longer i'll take items depending on my enemies Quote
