now to the topic. true, that machine can handle 1000+ players, BUT, you need to spend a lot of money to build that dream machine. although i dont think that someone can build a server now, that will become so much popular to have 1000+ all time. As you may notice lots of new server are up, or even are under construction and gona be up. So in my opinion its a bit difficult to have in your server 1000+ players. if any server will be that good and have so much players in it then, yes that monster can handle them quite easy.

That monster pc you are refereing to is not for 1000+ players but a lot more... The point is what server is this...maybe this server machine handles 1000 players raiding [that's not possible on l2 - only wow maybe ;)] at the same time but when xp or farm or pvp can handle over 5000 players also running two raid disks doesn't give you a lot...

It just takes you more power this dream machine anyway it's just a waste of money unless your a millionaire...and you dont care about them!!! It can handle players you will never reach...Unless you make something like DNA server or better...

My oppinion: a dual core processor with 8gb ram and  an average internet of 80-120mb upload it's just enough to open a good serious server

All that matters on a server is the internet connection and ram all the others sould be average on a dream machine cause if you want just to dream you can dream a server with 64gb Ram and all that kind of craps...If you want your dream come true just listen to me!!!

Off topic btw just download an File Editor for your client let's say if you have Final download File Edit ct2.3 or if you have epilogue-Freya download File Edit Ct2.4

And if the the Topic is crapy old someone lock it anyway...Just my opinion!!!

    • Siege Reward Start PM Msg Rework Config root BossDieAnnounce and BossDieSound in the L24Team.properties and Config.java files for global raid boss death notifications and sounds. Adds a new reward_list table to the DB.sql file to track castle rewards. Improves character creation logic for thread safety and validation. Adds extensive state checks to the RequestEnchantItem method to prevent enchantments during inappropriate player states. Fixed auto-attack animation bug (there was no attack animation, only damage animation) Clean Code Other fixes I forgot to list! Java 14 Fixed issue where deleting a character would prevent it from leaving the screen or being removed, or even after a delete CD (it would only exit when re-logging in or creating a new character). Added Premium System from the other C2 project (Needs testing and improvement). Added the "Improved" Community Board (incomplete).
