Last time a created a server it worked just fine... it had about 11 ppl online all the time...

 

But after I formated my computer I cant make the serrver work

 

it says something about a session key

 

("the session key is not correct. clozing connection")

 

 

 

can you check my problem out and telm what is wrong ?

Ok I found out what was wrong...

 

I just need a newer server pack probably coz' I updated my L2 client :)

your problem was the server hexid......

 

there is a batch file in the folder of your loginserver

 

search a little bit

no, it wasnt the hex id, it was the protocol version.The newest Client uses protocol 660 but later serverpacks dont know this so they cant let you log in.i have encountered this problem too..

 

 

 

If you still want to use the <<problematic>> serverpack, you can use an old engline.dll file.
