Solar flare is useless because of the damage outcome *same as hydro blast* just with lower cast and surrender to water is even useless in gracia+ especially in high five, because it lowers like 20 and the enemy have 400+.. // simple math - your wep have 300 att, surrender lowers 20 so you attack like 320 att when enemy have 400 water def you are still -80 at outcome. You can even the numbers by enchanting your skills to lower water def EG: vortex, hydro but it's all the same shit, trust me.

Scary games are only good for Youtubers reviews. The only "horror" MMO I played was Requiem Bloodymare, and that wasn't really terrifying, just a L2 with gore and ridiculous PvP. About multiplayer horror you got Dead by Daylight, but still, gameplay is very limited. There was another game were you were acting as the monster, the gameplay is cool but realization is mhe. That's maybe the only time where graphisms are important, with sound. But a MMO doesn't need graphisms to be good.

Old games had poor graphics and great gameplay. Nowdays the proportions betweeen those two are reversed and thats what makes games terrible. No matter how much effort u put into graphics if gameplay is shit game is shit. There is a limit which shouldnt be passed when it comes to graphics. Noone wants to see the "1:1 world realistic" stuff in games. Just look at L2 we all spent 10 last years in. I still prefer this game over new, overedited bullcrap.

And to topic.. I think we motivated the OP :)

I personally think it is impossible to revive the atmosphere of old mmos. I mean people prefer action games like moba/fps, with quick matches, not necessarily want to dive into mmo world.. sadly.

I had the same. Had to write converter from known mesh format to my own optimized for runtime. I wasted one straight day and today i made it from scratch! Just go relax for several days :)
