Ok, go to Start, type in the search box regedit.Open it and then go HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Valve->Half Life and there is a file called "Settings". Open it and find the line ScreenHeight (in here you will write 768[example]).Then find the line ScreenWidth (in here you will write 1024[example]). Or either find the line ScreenWindowed and type in there 1 to run it in a window. Hope it works.
