    Maybe you forgot what it said on the share:

    This source is based on L2JServer's Ertheia branch that Sdw and me started.

    Also its not tested as live server, it may have bugs, even stability issues, since you download it - you're on your own.

     

    The source is not ready for live server, it requires implementation of content, but whats been implemented is done right.

    I just cant imagine how that 1000% attack and def hack would work.

    Surely attack and defence stats arent handled client-side... right? What client-side thing enables that?

     

     

     


    do you even check any MMO of last 5years or just base on L2? :D
    most of late korean mmo has a lot of things done on client side or poor server validation, welcoming all kind of cheaters,
    archage devs was deeply sad in one of interviews, even asking "why people do that? in korea we had no exploiters and RUS region is flooded already on beta" XD

     

    Russian community did nothing wrong. IMO they did actually something good, showed that the game is exploitable. Really, if we are going to code things with the hope of people "don't do that hacking" lets all just make websites with unhashed passwords and direct admin access at the panel. Honestly thats one big security hole in the brains of devs thinking that making a game dont need any security checks. In that sense those games are made of cotton compared to Lineage II, even thought it had its exploits it was never that seriously hackable.

    Actually I don't know many oldschool MMOs (< 2000) that were that hackable. Whats this new trend to make games with everything client side? Is it such a big load for servers to calculate that stuff? If old games with poor servers (compared to today servers) did it back then, new games should not even think about leaving such things client-side.

    Wait what? Speed hack?

    Thats impossible in MMOs... either this hack is fake, or BDO has quite some stuff handled in client-side to allow such a thing.

     

    Ok... after some googling its really a thing...

     

    WHAT THE FUCK?

    I guess the creators of BDO had no previous experience with MMORPGs. The #1 rule of those games is keep all inportant cheatable stuff server-side. Really... why the server doesn't even calculate movement/attack/cast of everything ingame? Sure it saves a bit of CPU, but it makes it hella exploitabe.

    it is not, if you playd classic comparing to original interlude its whole different thing in many aspects, just so many that you can't just edit formulas, skills, npc,monsters and other things, thats require much more.

    About spammers like Acc, just ignore that bitch, dont reply him just none, and he would eventualy go away, im rly disspointed that Noone on this forum suggested an smart ban option, where you can select user you dont like, and any post of him wouldnt be shown for you, thats rly pitty .

    Nope... i played classic. Basically its a mesh between GOD and C1 (currently somewhere around C2) with new skills etc that are different from interlude yes, but balance is pretty nice and the overall feel is interludish. Formulas are the same mesh... some are GOD some are older. For example magic accuracy, dyes max +15 etc. And no, i think its only skills, formulas, items and npcs needed to be changed. The core is pretty much GOD.

    For those who are saying downgrade to interlude... WTF?

    L2JUnity project is one config variable away from supporting classic. (except skills items etc for who want to deal with it)

    And all I have to say is classic >>>>>>>> IL/H5 or whatsoever.

     

    You have better chance turning it into a classic server than downgrading it to interlude. Chances to see aCcs are higher than another aCis copy.

     

    I dunno why nobody mentioned, ehm, classic support, because this pack can provide really decent classic support with only changing skills and items and few of the formulas.

    And for those IL fans who don't even know what classic is. Basically its interlude, but with better grafix.

    Because they want to make money. On L2J PROJECT DEVELOPEMENT, don't expect to make any money, except if you live in China or Bulgaria and expect to live from it. Simple.

     

    If you aren't interested to make it as a hobby, simply forget L2J. You waste your time, and I'm the first to say that.

     

    It's exactly the same with other emulators of other games, while not being big names such as WoW, etc.

     

    Better waste your time deving your own game.

    Yes, yes we do, and yes, we did live from it :D And yes, we currently dominate this project with our dev population.

    But lets be honest here. Sdw is bored and has nothing to do at work (he works few hours and then have whole spare day) and in order to not spend his XXk salary for useless things (because his wife will un-XXL him) he has to pass his time with something fun and productive :D Also the suggestion to dev an own game has been passed multiple times by one of our members, but we all know the results... still waiting for loginserver rework for 2 years now from him :D:D

    Mostly because of team (at least part of team)

    There was only two members which actually doing something (Sdw and me), other just looking around and sometimes they did something (which in most of cases was bugged and I have to test it after them [hello UnAfraid, Nik])

    Since I created company I have no time for coding so it was more or less dead (and some people show their credibility, that was last thing)

    Aww, you are sweet. Since me and UnAfraid mostly rework stuff, ofc "we don't do anything, or what we do is bugged and you have to test it". Isn't rework like... keeping old features while adding new functionality and stabilizing performance? Yea, and one of your jobs is to test it, so don't whine about it, because a single person can't fully test a rework affecting big part of the pack.

    "Two members actually working" is totally irrelevant here. I consider everybody bringing something to the table, including you, but not limited to only what you do. For example, there is someone without a commit for months, probably not even that year, but 80% of your work is based on what he did before. So yea, you are a datapack guy, and yea, all you consider work is whatever is done in the datapack, and I excuse your inability to put the mental pressure needed to rework a years old systems in the core just to provide the functionality needed, or bang your head for days trying to make the mathmatics behind certain mechanics, and why would you do? - thats not considered as work anyway.

    I would agree, UnAfraid did not contribute lately (but he did a lot in past months so saying he did nothing is absolutely irrelevant) and all that is the cause of him having a permanent job taking his time. Sure, he could've just decided that the project will die because he got a permanent job and crap on us all the same way you did, because you have a "company" now, but he didn't do it.

    Also not to mention that you were willingly preventing some of us to work, because "would do shit code". And that "shit code" consists of few lines not made the way you want. Well guess what, you can either make those lines as you like, or live with it, since they provide the same functionality and you are just preventing some of us to work. Whats the big deal to change few lines? That just proves your inability to cooperate and why you suck at CSGO.

     

    Your excuse for your behaviour is totally irrelevant and misleading. Just as the thing "you got angry for" and did all of this.
