  1. If you are looking for the best developers, @St3eT and @Sdw are one of the best developers. St3eT told me he works at google and Sdw owns a big ISP from which he shows off his 100Gbit office internet speedtest. They also own secret l2j packs that only top l2j devs have access to, and many top servers used those packs for years (L2Incompetence for example which I know). They also use some tools to gather deep information from official and found many critical exploits there while using them. You may try to ask them for your server, but they already work in/own big companies and I don't think they will agree on cheap prices. I don't think you can currently find any better developers around here.

  2. It essentially reduces the frame rate while L2 is not focused (so either minimized (if you use full screen), or while another window is active).

    If you 10/20-box, you may want to turn it off to avoid your fans revving up to the max noise mode. However, if you simply 3-6 box, you may want to keep it on so that you could monitor what's going on in inactive windows at real time (smooth movement, no delay in chat window, etc.).

    If you only run a single client on full screen, you should instead consider quitting MMOs and moving to Single Player games. Of course, if you like the online component, you could try some Single-Player MMOs, like RS.

    You got that reversed. When enabled CPU usage is greatly reduced when the game is minimized or not focused. When disabled, game acts as if you are playing on this window, thus CPU usage is high and impossible to play with many clients. Thats why this option must be enabled if you 10/20 box, unless you want to show-off with your 20 core CPU and 10 graphics cards on cross fire/SLI, but that wont happen because game is not much optimized anyway and will not benefit much from your powerful rig anyway. I did dualbox IO client with this option disabled on my 3300 radeon integrated, but CPU always on 50-70% and its pain in the ass to watch 1080p videos at youtube. When enabled, cpu usage is ~5% per client.

  3. What makes classic stand out is even though it has all interlude skills from 2nd class (there is no 3rd class there), is the client itself. Gameplay feels much different when you can see floating damage/effect/immune/evade/crit/whatever floating text, target effects, etc. This is already leaping through interlude client. Sure classic has low skills, but the good thing is that it has some low level high five skills, as well as some small skill changes such as Sonic Blaster having a chance for 5 second stun which is really interesting and replaces the lack of Rush Impact. Some items are a bit different too, in the newest Classic version there is Blessed Soulshots with 30% damage o.O and boss jewels can stage up to stage 3. Actually core and orfen stats are change and now they are super legit as well. It might look strange, but its not that bad once you try it out. But even so, if you dont like it, you can remove that from your pvp server.

    I remember korean classic version having talismans and shit, but not in RU/NA since they dont like them. Those talismans most likely exist in client and pvp server devs can actually use them.

    So classic has pretty much to offer, since its simple and polished gameplay compared to GOD that is complex and rough.

    Classic stands out for its simplicity of items (No, D, C, B, A grade) and slow-but-deadly pvp, with which i mean that everything happens slow, but does a lot of damage unlike h5 where everything is fast and still does lots of damage. 500 attack speed is average and 900 casting speed is already at the borders of being able to increase it. You can still spam 12 WIT though, but sacrificing 12 men would make you manaless mage glass. Basically pvp there feels like perma oly world.

  4. Im not interested in official L2. I didnt even play GoD... :)

    Well you should be, because the moment when classic private servers start to appear is when interlude dies. As for h5, it will die anyway. No matter how fucked up retail is from h5, its still better than all h5 private servers.

    But forget that, making a GG killer should be of your own interest since its a good challenge for your skills :P

    keep watching at l2tower forum, there will be soon gg killer

    At the moment is enough for me that it works on retail, but damn, that gameguard slows everything so much...

  5. What fail opening lol

    redemption, ava = mouse

    cartel = dbska + stalone

    tales = stalone + dbska + mouse

    all servers had more ppl than your 54087089709x servers together also you cant even pay for normal promo video = how bad you are, so its reason why you using still videos from old worlds (new realm never had some pvp videos)

  6. Im wondering if some oldschool server-side anti-bot methods are forgotten by the new bot programs. L2Walker was so easy to detect and l2net, there was one trick for it where many players fell.

    To this day, I still don't know why walker was sending PMs such as "USESKILL", "USEITEM", "BUYITEM", "SELLITEM", to the server and actually detecting those.

  7. since i using .cfg and its normal server comand, how u will find it ? :D

    There is difference between .cfg and //cfg

    .cfg is a voiced command that is not handled in retail. Its actually chat text that is distinguished from normal chat by the "." symbol, which l2j servers actually mark it as voiced command. In reality you are just saying .cfg in the normal chat and your character would've said .cfg to all players like you say "hi". Go in retail and see for yourself.

    //cfg is an admin command that is handled in retail. It sends a completely different packet to server (not chat packet like .cfg) and works only if character is said to be gm on that server.

    So I can distinguish .cfg and //cfg because they are handled in totally different way. One is chat packet and other is admin command packet.

  8. Type //cfg to start? You know that its admin command context, and only thing I need to do is "lie" to the client that his character is GM and suddenly I can see when he types //cfg... lol. Insta tower ban.

  9. I just sit here and watch how lazy are players... lol

    Just to let you know that x1 high five server you can get max level in 10-15 days.

    Back in the previous chronicles players actually thought of leveling 2-3 days for max level on mid rates to be normal. Now it's a lot? o.O?

    No wonder x0.3 high five server exists which is played by quite many players.
