First step to prepair the server.. Firstly download these files: 1) JavaJDK : http://rapidshare.com/files/181838834/jdk-6u10-windows-i586-p.exe 2) MySQL Server : http://rapidshare.com/files/181846379/mysql-5.0.67-win32.zip 3) Navicat : http://rapidshare.com/files/181850545/navicat.rar 4) Server : http://rapidshare.com/files/65491864/Oneo_Preconfigure_by_TheMentaL.7z Credit :TheMetaL 5) L2fileEdit : http://rapidshare.com/files/181856645/L2_FileEdit__Int-Kamael_.rar Once you have dowloaded all this and you have extracted them : Install JavaJDK And... 1) Start with Mysql: And here press "Typical" Prees "Detailed Configuration" choose "Server Machine" Here press "Multifunctional DataBase" Here leave it as it is and press next Here choose up to how many people can enter the server and press next Here just unclick the "Modify Securiti Settings" In the end you will have to come across with what the picture shows if you havent made a mistake 2) Extract here the l2pack or the one i give you. 3)install the navicat. Open the navicat programme choose "new connection" and then ok.. Detailed: At the navicat choose connection (in the left up corner) and do as the picture shows After that a new connection wiil appear below the one we chose which is named local host right click on it and press new database a small window will appear simplt name it 'l2jdb' and the database is ready 4) Extract the server and a folder will appear which will be named "Oneo Preconfigure by TheMentaL" 5) Install database open your server's folder server/tools delete the file "vars" 6) You will find a file which is named "Database_installer.bat" right click on it and choose edit 7) look and find at the note which will come up and put "set mysqlBinPath=C:/Program Files/Mysql 5.0/Bin" and then press save and you are done with the editting :P 8) Once you have correctly finished with the previous step open the Database_installer.bat press enter untill the file "vars" appears again then "LOGINSERVER DB install type: (f) full or (u) upgrade or {s} skip or (q) quit?" then press f and wait for about 15min untill it is done * when the install is over the database is ok 9)Now we move on to /gameserver/config/server open it with notepad and here please do the following the way i give it to you :) # This is transmitted to the clients connecting from an external network, so it has to be a public IP or resolvable hostname # If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave * ExternalHostname= (here you put your internet ip- if you want to play alone 127.0.0.1) We find it from here www.whatismyipaddress.com) # This is transmitted to the client from the same network, so it has to be a local IP or resolvable hostname # If this ip is resolvable by Login just leave * InternalHostname= (here you put your lan ip which you can find at start/run/cmd/ipconfig (e.x 192.168.1.1) if you want to play alone 127.0.0.1) MinProtocolRevision = 1 MaxProtocolRevision = 999 (here you will put both like this so that you won't have any problem.) 10) Once we have finished we the previous steps we go to server/gamelogin/config/loginserver # This is transmitted to the clients connecting from an external network, so it has to be a public IP or resolvable hostname ExternalHostname= (here you put your internet ip- if you want to play alone 127.0.0.1)We find it from here www.whatismyipaddress.com) # This is transmitted to the client from the same network, so it has to be a local IP or resolvable hostname InternalHostname= (here you put your lan ip which you can find at start/run/cmd/ipconfig (e.x 192.168.1.2) if you want to play alone 127.0.0.1) 11) Once we are done with the previous steps we begin to make the hexid :) server/loginserver/RegisterGameServer.bat A black window will appear just type there ''1''. a hexid1 file will appear and we cut it and then go to server/gamestart/config/hexid then we delete it and we paste it and rename it and make it a simple hexid and then enter and the hexid is ready :) 12) Then we go to server/loginserver and press "loginserver.bat" 13) then go to server/gameserver and press"startgameserver.bat" http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/7012/serversva8.jpg[/img] 14) Once we have finished all that we start making our pacth open the l2editfile 15) Open and descrypt at C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system find the l2.ini p ss save and save it with version 413 The pacth is ready :) Don't forget to open the ports start/search/cmd/ipconfig/ look for the ip of the router E.X 192.168.1.1 if you need any help visit http://www.portforward.com I hope i haven't forgotten anything :) -DarkSky
