First of all Linux operating systems are free. For a Lineage 2 server I would suggest you to use Ubuntu Server edition (without GUI). And of course, linux is more secured than Windows is, but in both cases, it really depends on your performance (software).

Well, in the past I've created few servers with success. Also I have few commited patches to the L2J core and dp. That means that I have clue what Java is. I think that 2 minds are always much more than one. So I want someone who I can trust. As I said, don't get me wrong ;d

Well I don't want someone just to code my idea. I'm not that kinda guy that wants a dream server, and someone to create it. I'm just saying that I have the main idea for the server. Don't get me wrong.

Hello folks! I am about to start a server, and I need a serious help with Java. I am searching for someone interested in starting a project, who can develop Java. The project is going to be PVP Interlude, with few custom PVP features. I am web designer and developer, who also has administrative skills. Also I own a server machine. The name of the server and the website are already done. The ideas for the features are also made-up. Just need someone who can realize them. Well, if you were serious, you would post this thread correctly, with all its information around the server, and your plans. It doesn't seems that you intend to make a huge server, it sounds more like a dream. So, imagine that I am a serious person with available dedicated server (talking about good one, not a home pc, where I will be playing from), I wouldn't share anything with you, because your thread doesn't seems to be significant. Better try to make your post more detailed.

Hello! I agree with you that a programmer can't handle a whole server, even if he's experienced enough. Always, in any other job/project, there should be a brain existing. The programmer cannot handle the whole proccess of building the server, from its coding, advertisement and publicity 'till the most difficult and inescapable situations. I'm about to send you a PM.

Lol, "enco" ? Absolutely the same thread, just from another user. I think you should give more information about what jobs the developer could be able to handle. And delete one of the threads.

Well, actually he is asking for the whole proccess of installation. If you are a linux newbie, you better read some guides about linux. There are commands that you must know. After reading them, I am sure that you will be able to answer the question by yourself. For example, the guide which mogo gave you is pretty simple and understandable for a newbie. You can also use google by asking your questions.

It has many features and fixes, but I also saw many bugs. Also I've heard that L2JTeon was one of the best projects ... So which is the most stable project ?
