But then again, even after a time which is getting pretty close to a decade, people are still not being bored of the same features over and over again. People have just recently slowly started to move on from C6 to later chronicles and we can see a slow but sustained rise in the number of Hi5 servers. I completely agree with you about the people who are complaining about certain enchant numbers. There is one thing every player has to understand: You can make a +500 enchant server and still make it balanced. This whole myth about "+10 max enchant or unbalance" is stupid and I'd love to have a chat with the person who came up with it in the first place. Also the "Hi5 = mages weak and unbalanced" and every single retarded excuse server makers and players make up is just driving me nuts. You can nerf attribute values through buffs, you can reduce the M.def buff's power, or just play around with the base M.def values of jewels, correct the insanely luck based sudden damage spikes thanks to debuffs, critical chance and damage ratios and whatnot. Depending on where the issue lies. Don't know the math? Fine, do it by error and trial. Can't do it alone? Fine, call for help. But these bunch of excuses which are the reason for myths like these to be born in the first place are what completely spoiled the remaining player base and this is what brought us here. I believe the main problem here is that people just can't let certain memories and the things they got used to, simply go. Players are still looking for servers that are similar to the one they have played previously, they still expect and even demand certain things to be the same as they were on previous servers they have played on, they still hold onto these little fairy tales, because that's what they have learned and have tied their entire L2 carriers to... and this is all because of what? Some lazy prick's excuses who couldn't care less to take a step further and do the extra job. Then another one with the same attitude followed, and another, and another... up to a point where it became common sense. You can call L2 players stupid for not actually stepping up and refusing to play trash servers, but then again, can you actually blame someone who simply does not know better? Out of these L2 players, the server owners emerge and the vicious cycle continous from where it began.

Yes, that is certainly an issue. However, people that are only interested in the donations, aren't as committed to put effort into their servers and can be easily spotted. I am offering my help to those who are more passionate but lack in theoretical knowledge. I know it first hand, how it is when people are too blinded by the potential extra income and I'm positive that I can filter those out.

Hello readers and potential future partners, I have decided to offer you guys something that is a rather rare sight on these forums. Although you can find basicly everything on Maxcheaters, the forum only offers you components, but it is never able to tell you whether your server actually needs it or if it will only create another annoying customization that does not fit into the concept at all. Being a Lineage 2 player ever since C4 and being a gamer for god knows how many years, playing on countless different L2 servers and playing just as many different games, while looking for THE GAME to play for a longer period of time, I have evolved an interest in finding flaws in game concepts to find out whether or not I should stick to the game, or just move on to find something else worth playing. While I spent time looking at other people's work, I felt the urge to create something on my own, to do it right, to be able to do something creative, to satisfy people. This urge helped me to find the motivation to work on something I could call my own, over and over, coming up with newer ingame designs each time and helped me to get to know the game better from a server owner's point of view. I was never able to open my own server until January 2014. This server could not stay open for a variety of reasons and had to be closed down early. The experience gained helped me to understand what having a live and stable server with a demanding community means and requires from the owner and that being able to deliver a quality server, needs someone with a broad knowledge base in administration, game design and programming. To avoid any misunderstandings, I am NOT A PROGRAMMER. I do not have any experience in programming, nor do I know any languages. What I offer: - Help to re/design your server (if you have a general idea, but don't know where to start, or if you just feel like you are stuck, don't know whats next) - Re/balancing classes and item stats (Having a good sense taking every angle into consideration, I can quickly determine whether or not something fits into your current balance. This seems to be too big of a fuckover to be true, there has to be something to secure that money after people have donated them.

Yea, I really like the look of the lower grade weapons, they feel like actual middle-age weapons and not the luxurious ones Lineage 2 has nowadays. Fits the game a lot more in my opinion.
