  1. *Update* We will have the beta registration up for another day, but then we will be loading the main website on our domain in preparation for the beta. Beta will be announced soon.
  2. We plan on creating a few different zones, each with their own unique script. However, this isn't an event that happens once every few hours, it's a high level area to gather materials and level. Don't want to go too crazy on it. There will be a story line and we will set the theme when you enter the place, don't judge something before you try it!

  4. You have a valid point. I had a solution in mind, and that is give all support classes the ability to transform like some of the healer classes can do. However, I don't know if that would be a valid solution. I would definitely like to make healers able to solo their way to 76. Thoughts on this?

  6. Custom Script Zones School of Dark Arts. This zone will be available for testing in beta. Below are details on this revamped zone. The fine details haven't been worked out but this is what we have so far and will start with. Open-world, full party, leveling area - Level 76-85 - Area will have a "theme" set and some story-line dialogue written. Upon killing a monster in the zone, a random number is generated. This random number is kills needed for a random champion monster to spawn for your party. The champion monster will spawn on top of a random party member. When killed, it will drop rare materials used in crafting S80/S84 and other goodies. Also, your party will have a certain % chance on each kill to spawn a treasure chest. That's all the information I have on this zone as of now! If you have any ideas please send an email titled "School of Dark Arts" to admin@l2symple.com I am the core developer of L2 Symple.   7. As I already specified, there is a need for buffers. People who wish to play a buffer as their main may do so - because it will benefit others who don't have a buffer. Even if there were no npc buffer, what's to stop people from creating a buffer and boxing it then also? At this leveling rate you will level fairly quickly. If the rates were very low, such as 5x -7x, then I would agree with you. Our development team is always open to ideas on how to improve gameplay. We have created our vision of what we would find exciting in a server, and that vision will most certainly grow and improve as we gain players.   11. I have a college degree in application design and am very experienced with java. If there is a bug i'll try to find a fix or an alternative. Class balancing won't be an issue because we can modify if something is too OP. Just because I am running a Hi5 server doesn't mean I am focusing on the content of Hi5. I'm an old-school player and focus more on the old content, as well as the new. We design the server around our vision of ideal gameplay and the players opinions.
  12. They are the latest server files and I am trying to make this as bug-free as possible. I would rather use files that have support then use out-dated files with no support.

  14. There needs to be a money sink; having to purchase your gear C grade and up is good for the economy. We are trying to bring back the rpg element into this game. Exploration, multiple hunting zones for the same level, etc.
  15. What'sup everyone! DrizzLx here, lead developer of a new "coming soon" Hi5 15x (35x w/ vitality) Lineage 2 server. I'm looking for everyone's opinions and ideas on what YOU would love to see in a Lineage 2 server. Keep in mind this is a low-mid rate server. Let's get to it! I'll list an overview of what we have so far and feel free to criticize it or suggest something! L2Symple is dedicated to bringing back those long-lost precious memories we all have of Lineage 2. We are veteran retail players and aim to create a server that we can call home. Rates: 15x (vitality is 1.5, 2.0, 2.0, 2.5 so vitality 4 is 37.5x) experience, 26x adena, any spoil or drops that are used on the server will have their own custom drop rate. Players start at level 20 in their racial starting zone. All starting zones have been modified so you may level 20-40 by exploring them and killing the mobs. Upon entering the game you may select free 90-day D grade equipment from the Newbie Merchant. To obtain equipment after your initial starting gear you will need to purchase common C grade. However, for those who have enough adena there will be a C, B, and A grade equipment shop linked to several merchants in main towns. S-grade,S80, and S84 will be obtained by trading materials at a shop (which will drop/spoil in multiple high level zones). We love crafting but feel it would be too difficult if only dwarfs could craft, so we will allow players to trade a custom list of materials for the gear. Noblesse and subclass - I think we are going to sell partial items so you don't have to do the whole quest. NPC Buffer - 1 hour buffs. We all love buffs! The buffer has all the buffs you will need, including buffs for your summon. However, Prophecies, 3rd class dances/songs, dwarf buffs, pet buffs, dance of siren, dance of the vampire, and elemental resist dance/buff may only be obtained by Premium Accounts (which will be available via donation). So regular accounts will get all pre 76 buffs from the npc buffer, with the exception of those pre 76 skills listed above. If you do not wish to donate, feel free to create your own buffer. Donations - Read above about the Premium Account system. We will NOT allow donations for weapons, armor, enchants, or things that you can't earn in-game. We hope that the Premium Account system we created will allow us to minimize donations to only misc items and items that will allow you to keep full vitality for an hour, which will make leveling easier. Gatekeeper - We aren't big fans of a global gatekeeper, thoughts on this? This is all so far, we're still in the very early stages and plan to have much more content. I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions and ideas! Updates on gameplay: C, B, and A grade weapons/armor will be free. S grade will cost adena and S80/S84 will use a unique crafting system that uses key materials. [Regular Accounts] Players will receive full vitality and 1 hour vitality replenishing potion once per day, this item is bound to your character. [Premium Accounts] Will receive full vitality and multiple potions per day (we have not yet decided on quantity, maybe 2 or 3).
