This scammer rent me vps and after 2 weeks that vps one day was lagging, second day 13hours offline (he promised me additionally days) but after that third day 10hours ofline. I moved to other host, he's not refunding me at least half of my paid 106 euros. He got banned on his account KdErD64 and he's now with this new account claiming that it's my fault, that he promised refunds in his service topic and he's not refunding now. Also he's unreachable in skype, blocked me.

Well I don't see the point why you are speaking here. You sold me a service which had problems (1 day laggs, 2 day 13 hours off, 3 day 10 hours off), you didn't give me a refund for 2 weeks and you blocked me on skype. After 1 days offline I asked you myself to extend the date of service and you agreed, but after second day 10 hours offline it wasn't an option anymore. You wrote in your topic that you refund 100% but you didn't, so thats all story.

You are almost never reachable in skype, that's why I left in the first place. You didnt gave me your phone number, cause you knew youre a scammer and I will need to reach to you. You messed up my server for 3 days and I haven't lost shitload of donates, but 100-200 euros for sure and it is not your competention to value how much I could earn if you had l2versuvio which failed. That's your experience in hosting yes? Blaming your clients? You got what you're worth and be happy

Hello, I own http://c6.lt faction server. Lots of people recently lost their items in game because of http://l2ovc.com/ I discovered it by finding one person who logged almost to 50 accounts from his IP which weren't his accounts. When I contacted him, he told me that he was a GM at http://l2ovc.com/ server and in accounts database he saw uncoded passwords in each account's line. I've immediately banned him on hwid and warned my players to change passwords in server to different ones than in l2ovc.com Talking about proof, every player who got robbet told me that he previously played in L2OvC and used same password - believe it or not, it's your own choice. I see in this forum user L2 OvC - maybe he needs to be banned or not?

Hello, I've decided to create a thread that less people would have been scammed. Hope moderators will get this sticky, cause I'm willing to update this topic with new informations. As you may already know, recently I got scammed by KderD64 user member on this forum, you can read about this on http://maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=278804.0 or http://maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=278851.0 but it doesn't matter now. Topic is not about this. What I offer people who are posting in Web Hosting section? I offer moderators to add new rules. For example, if you want to sell the host, you need to provide public information, not just advertisement "I sell vds in germany ddos protected pm me on skype" because lot of people got scammed by that. What criteries should those sellers fit? What infos should they provide? Let's think about that.. They should provide us this information: 1. VDS Country Location 2. Parameters (RAM, CPU, Internet speed, Traffic Bandwidth limit) 3. Providers website 4. Do they have a reseller status, if not, the reason why they are selling their VDS 5. Their service expiration date 6. Is DDoS protections included? If yes, describe it's capability (for example protection from 10gbps attacks) 6.1. Provide ip address to test DDoS protections - it may be gameserver or websites url's 7. If you have already sold services before, show us the list of your clients and give their forum usernames, also websites where we could see what these people bought from you. 8. Price of your service (who pays taxes - you or buyer?) 9. Do they offer refund? If yes, after service ordering when you can demand for refund - in 7 days or 30 days? So people would create topics for 2 reasons: 1. Is to provide services to others 2. It's just simply resell service from another hosting company. What buyers in these topics should know? Well, from my experience I can tell that if moderators add those rules which I written above, buyers will know a lot of crucial information about the sellers already. However, you can't fully protect from scammers, so I can give you one advice when you pay for services on PayPal. If you pay by PayPal, always send the money to service providers by using "paying for goods and services" option. Don't try to save your money by using "paying for families and friends or gifts option" and I'l tell you why. When you send your payment as a gift to service seller - that's all, you are screwed. Cause you can't refund gift payments. Another advice don't have business with sellers who asks your paypal e-mail and then send you money request form which you pay. Because when you pay their request, you also accept that they have sold their virtual services to you and you agree not to dispute the payment. So, if you pay the sellers request or you pay them by sending money with option friends/family/gift you will not be able to dispute and receive the money in case of scam. KDerD blocked me on skype when I asked for refund. I've paid 106 euros and used service for 2 weeks, so at least refund half of price instead of blocking me on skype. You don't know how much money from donate I also lost from that 3 days server down problem. He said he will fully refund, but no he blocked me on skype :) First day server was lagging, I asked him to fix this problem. Next day server was offline becuz of "fixing this problem", when finally on the night it was online I agreed to extend length of the service. But when day after server was again offline all day I haven't had another choice but to move to other host. It's his problems that he is reachable 10 minutes in day and he doesn't even give me his phone number. Also another interesting detail is that when I paid for service to him, he immediately refunded me money. Then he created a money request for me and I paid that request. Now when I wan't to dispute the transaction I can't do it because I paid for "Virtual services" and when you agree to his request, you can't dispute the transaction. He thought about that other may dispute money from this services from the beginning so yes, until he refunds me half of price - he's a scammer. P.S. After he started my vps online again some files were rollbacked 1-2 days
