Η λύση για να ξυπνήσετε μια και καλή, βρέθηκε στην παλαβή ανακάλυψη του Σάνκαλπ Σίνχα (Sankalp Sinha) το... ξυπνητήρι-ηλεκτροσόκ! Ο 19χρονος είναι φοιτητής μηχανολογίας στο Sharda University στην Uttar Pradesh της Ινδίας. Βλέποντας ότι υπάρχουν στιγμές που αποκοιμιέται ενώ έχει πατήσει το κουμπάκι στο ξυπνητήρι αποφάσισε να πάρει πιο δραστικά μέτρα. Πάνω στο κουμπί αποφάσισε να ενεργοποιήσει έναν μηχανισμό που προκαλεί ηλεκτροσόκ τόσο δυνατό ώστε να σε ξυπνά χωρίς ωστόσο να δημιουργεί προβλήματα υγείας. "Νομίζω ότι θα βοηθήσει πολλούς ανθρώπους που έχουν το ίδιο πρόβλημα όπως και εγώ", λέει ο εφευρέτης ο οποίος κοστολογεί το ξυπνητήρι του στα 70 ευρώ, μια... τιμή-ηλεκτροσόκ για να ταιριάζει με την ιδέα του δημιουργού.
