hello once again people, I'm back after a long job/vacation. hahaha

 

anyways i have a great way to mod your min and max protocals for your l2 server. many and many of people and tons of request have been made of people asking how to find out or fix there protocal. so i have come up with a fast and simple fix for this. if you have a better way please make note on this post.

 

 

ok go find your protocal and where the first number is this is where it will start. remover your numbers and added this:

Because each player with each protocol rev can login (which means each chronicle)

 

And now think a bit:

 

a) someone log in with for example Interlude at Hellbound.

 

b) He will open his window with skills.

 

c) what will he see? Many black icons.

 

d) What should happen after pressing them? Critical error.

 

e) What else? Most likely he will not be able to log in at this char any more.

 

(only with some kind of Admin actions)

if you work with gracia and above you will see that you can't add min = 1 and max = 999. you can only add number in 1 spot.

exp:

# Default: 216

AllowedProtocolRevisions = 1;2;3

 

do this step and you will not be guessing what protocal version of a server you have, fell free iof you have a better way to cover all versions!

 

also it was added here because you have to change this number in ther server or your client will not work. so in away it would be some what of mod for client.
