Everibody is talking about the big amount of DDRAM you need to start a serious server... but what about the processors? I want to rent a dedicated server soon and release my l2 server...so i`ve decided to make a poll... offcourse we ar talking about quad core processors...

 

Please vote and say why you prefere that option...

Allright... but do u guys have a good argument? i mean... why do u think Intel xeon is better than Opteron...? as far as i know... l2extreme used opteron back in the days...  and... after a few searches on the net... is seems that opteron is far better than xeon... at some applications i dont know if it`s thrue or not... but atleast that`s what ive readed...

opterons are in general better then xeons.

where else could i post my poll? it has connections with l2 since i`ve mentioned that " what processors are better for a lineage 2 server... opterons or xeon`s"  if i whould make a pool with "what processor is better for playing >> MARIO << " it whould be another thing... and i whould post this in another section for sure... please vote and answer if u want.. but dont spam for the sake of posts count.

i followed the movements of AMD against INTEL .. and i preffer AMD .. cuz' it is always working "STEP BY STEP", making your computer be more ordered and obviously more efficent ^^

i GUESS this should be the same ..
