Hello MxC designers. This tutorial is dedicated to all the newbies photoshop users.I decided to make this guide because there are some users who don't know what is borders and how to put them.

1) What is borders ?

Borders are some lines which cover the signature and make it more realistic and good-looking :) It's not necessary to use them in every creation...You can understand if it fit with you eye.

2) Why i must use borders ?

As i said before borders make your creation more realistic and good-looking. It's good to use it.

3) How i use them ?

FIRST WAY

I'm gonna explain you 2 different types of borders. It's really easy ;) Let's go...When you finish your creation, create a new layer (alt+ctrl+shift+N or Layer>New>New Layer) and go to Image>Apply Image. After this, go to Edit>Stroke and choose the settings you want. The most common color is black and white. Choose 1px and press ok 2cfw9om.png

Here is the result: t89seo.jpg

That's it. You're done! ;)

SECOND WAY

This is another way to put borders with a different style. When you finish your creation create again new layer and apply the image (check the first way on to do this) and select the rectangular marquee tool. Then go the top of your creation and make a veeeery thin line. When you do this, right click on the line, select fill and make the settings you want ;) width=1024 height=586http://i28.tinypic.com/5wyyh0.png[/img]

When you finish do the same, but this time for the bottom of your creation.

This was the second way. Very easy!
