I was making something like this today with a frond-end gui.I can help you make it better.

You can add stuff such as increasing p.def by a specific percent amount.

I have coded a lil something for this:

 

This is the sql query(not mine):

(Increase it by 10%)

 

UPDATE char_templates SET P_DEF = P_DEF * 1.1

 

How to increase it by x%:

 

percent = 1 + percent * 0.01

 

where percent is the number that the user enters.

I always hated sql managers or w/e.. theyre all harder to understand than sql on its own lol..

 

Yes I am sure it is a lot harder to understand a simple phrase than an sql query. (Sarcasm)

Yes i am sure only a nab programmer, or in this case a pro mxc dev.. whos main language is prolly some .NET, would think he actually contributes with programs that save you 2 clicks(Seriously?).

 

its like a story rlly...

 

DELETE FROM table_name WHERE some_column=some_value

 

and its rlly harder to understand

 

go to your program, click on some db, some table.. find the row where you want to delete and then delete it.

 

Anyway.. youre lucky its mxc, this way you actually get ppl that find it usefull.

These applications do not save you 2 clicks, they save you a lot of time.You can do the same thing that you would do with notepad on 5 minutes in a few seconds.When you have to write 50 different SQL queries and in the program are like 10 check boxes and a button which is faster?(even copy pasting you still cannot finish faster).

 

go to your program, click on some db, some table.. find the row where you want to delete and then delete it.

 

More than two clicks already.And you still think that an application where you can do the same thing with just a button is more complex and takes more time.And its not always that easy to find row sometimes you have to search for it...

      l2jlucera the source code is not public and is not for sale. If you're going to use L2jMobius or L2jAcis, you need to know how to program or have a basic understanding, and you can ask for help from a bot, which usually won't be 100% helpful. Or you can pay a programmer to do the work for you.
