hello for now try it .

 

1. Remove the Mysql Instance Configure Wizard (Add/Remove Programs)

 

2. Fix the registry (using ccleaner)

 

Installation

 

1. Choose a different folder (not the same path where you tried to install before)

 

2. Choose the default configuration (Basic)

 

3. Leave the "Existing Password" BLANK

 

4. Key in your new password

 

5. Execute

 

if it will work write here .

Man thanks for answer, I try it but again not want finished the Install... ;/ say me again same shit ,

I think its something with my firewall.....

I hope you post again and maybe we can fix the problem together. Thanks

I have one question ,I dont must enter a Current root password? yes?

and what I must do at root password ?? I can do every one what I want? or I must regist or passwerd is root??

sry I newbie at MySQL ;/

maybe noob questions.

first of all dont make double post just edit first post, so if u remember your old password for MySQL so write it in password i dont know what password you have maybe you have default root/root try it, if dont help try open the TCP port 3306 and give us results .

Well, i was got the same problem...

 

It's To Simple... You have this problem cuz 3306 port is beeing used the time that mysql tring to aply the security options.

In Other Words You Got An Program (admin panel or what ever..ex: Plesk) That Using The 3306 Port...

 

1)If You Got An Admin Panel, You Should Search At The options About The Port Or Even The Mysql...

 

I Think That I Helped... More Help In 30 mins...busy :P
