The lighting should be better.

I mean you could use some soft-edged brushes to make some white spots in the sky with Soft-Light and low opacity for the lightnings.

 

The rest is very good.

I used Levels and, I think, I lowed the opacity and I erase everything except the sky, with brush 70%

New layer filled up with black @ color/linear dodge!Grab a soft brush with the desired color and brush where you want to give some emphasis!

I will make a tut based on that once I manage to steal some of my study time!
