you dont do any damage to the target nothing ,nada, 0 dmg..

you and other people ONLY SEE THE ANIMATION and the SS charge

 

nothing happens if you use it correctly

just look that u make /attackforce and not /attack

anyway that trick works everywhere cause is a client side thing, if u get pink it's just cause u have atk speed buffs, when u have high atk speed it wont work and u will get pink
