How to speed up IE [ Without problems ] [ now in all windows type ]

  1. Click Start - Run.

 

  2. Type "regedit" and click OK.

 

  3. In the left pane navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

  4. In the right pane you should see the contents of Internet Settings.

  5. Check Regedit's right-hand column for the following two lines (values): MaxConnectionsPerServer MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server

 

  6. If these values are present, right-click on the first value (MaxConnectionsPerServer), select Modify from the drop-down menu, click Decimal, and set the Value data field to 6. Repeat this process for the second value (MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server).

 

  7. If these lines (values) are not listed, right-click on the white region of Regedit's right-hand column, click New, and then click DWORD Value.

 

  8. Enter MaxConnectionsPerServer for the name of the new DWORD Value and press Enter. The new value should now appear in Regedit's right-hand column.

 

  9. Right-click the new value and click Modify.

  10. As in step six, click Decimal and set the Value Data field to 6, then click OK.

  11. Repeat steps seven through 10 using MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server as the new DWORD Value name instead of MaxConnectionsPerServer.

 

  12. Close Regedit and test Internet Explorer.

lol ffox have so many bugs xD read info on mozilla site :P if you want to use something else beter use seamonkey 1.1.4... but at the topic :P true its little bit faster (sometimes beter to use IE or some IE based tool than mozilla coz of limited resources like ram:P)

im not talking about liking ffox or IE imo you can use whatever you like (doesnt matter for me:P ) but dont say:

coz 1st of all it isnt dead :P and 2nd if you want you can find nearly same tools for IE as for Ffox or any other browser :P

same as me:P at home im using seamonkey but at work i can use only IE so im trying always to find smth for IE that takes it close to seamonkey:P like maxthon browser for example...

IE - there is so many holes in it i even dont want to talk about it ... :P

mozilla ffox - ok ok there is some shit in that project but from te start meaning of ffox was to be quickest:P

seamonkey and opera - most secured browsers :P with nonstop working at them team :P

you know how it is with microshit "if something is usable for everything it is'nt best in anything" :P

The only way i would use IE is that the website I'm trying to open is non firefox compatible XD

 

Anyway for learning pourpose this is a good thing to know.
