The pattern should be @ lower opacity.

You should also center a bit more the render.

And yep the diagram is not that good.You could make a better one.

The text doesn't really fit and you should burn the background a bit more.

Well,if you check the ps tools you will find out that there is a tool beneath the Smudge/Blur/Sharpen tool!

There you can find Burn tool(darken the areas),Dodge tool(lighten the areas) and Sponge tool(I don't really use it.It fixes some areas but you have to know how to use it)!
