Full access to the Hypervisor, complete dumps have been made by him.

It all started a few days ago when GeoHot (aka George Hotz), which did some amazing iPhone hacking in the past, started playing around with the PS3 late last year, after many trials and errors, and dead-ends, he finally built a amazing (picture-wise below) piece of hardware to try to override the start-up of the PS3 hypervisor via the currently unlocked SPI interface.

I've seen another one dude that hacked it just to watch cracked blue ray disks. No idea if he could play with cracked games too, but he fucking did it :D

ps3 has good security not a simple one (like ps2/wii/gamecube/ps1) that's why so many years after it's release it didn't had any pirate blue ray game etc.

GeoHot is crazy really he had all bootroms of Apple for the iPhone and he managed the impossible to unlock the iPhone in all countries after iPhone OS 3.X, peace of cake to hack PS3 too and the amazing is that he made 1 week to analyze the hardware and 1 week to brake it ! also he had never played on a PS3 he just wanted to hack it :D so bb patches !!
