Requires donation key. Its for a good cause, and its cheap. 5$ wont break you, and backlogging code is long and tedious. Please consider it.

Its finally here:

L2Net v379 Interlude Edition

Download link:

http://ltwonet.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=29

This is a hybrid version of v378 and v379 beta, so you won't find all the latest v379 features in it, its more like v378 with crash issues fixed and Interlude support.

You need a valid product key to use this version, free users will have to use v231b.

Installation:

Download and put L2NET_IL.exe and interfaceIL.txt in your l2net folder and you are good to go.

You can run both versions at the same time.

Final note:

This version will not be updated as often as the Gracia version.

i have several problem on this version:

- when i choose File > Setup

L2NET crash

when i try to connect on Dragon Network (CT1.5 ip:85.14.217.252 port:2106 prot:831)

i have always this error :

23:59:16 :[ERROR: failed to load saved enterworld packet

well yes, dragon network is ct1.5, you cant connect with the IL bot.

theres two branches for L2.NETs now,

Interlude (IL)

and

ct1 - ct2.4

If you are using the ct1-2.4 version, you will need to wait for rr2, or download oddi's temp fix

The enterworld packet is part of the small error made when uploading the files... download

---

If you are using the interluder version

You need to update L2.NET to ct1-2.4 fully, then download the interlude update (make sure you get the temp fix so that you dont get that crash anymore)

I have this error:

l2neterror.jpg

translaction:

"The aplication failed the correct inicialization (0xc...etc). Click Ok to end aplication."

Why does this happen? :S I get this error in every version of L2net and I've installed net framework 3.5 and Direct x redit..

Thx for help.  :)

    • Migrating a legacy Interlude server to PostgreSQL while adding real observability is basically forcing 2006 MMO engineering to attend a 2026 infrastructure conference at gunpoint. PS: which revision of aCis? PS: 🧻what was broken during this whatever you call it.    AAC Guard beign asked to adapt to this be like: - Creating bugs since early 2018

    • I came out of my cave as I do once every 5 years. By now, I know nobody really cares about L2, but I still find it fun to experiment. Everything you see here will be free and open source. I have no interest in selling anything.   Long story short, I like to revisit Interlude and apply what I've learned to see how far I can push it. Here's Outerlude, a public fork of aCis for the modern age.   Video demo:   Work that has been done:   Redone the netcode from scratch to be async The NPC AI was completely redone based on Finite State Machines Moved to PostgreSQL and using some of its cool features Lots of config that should be hot reloadable has moved to the database OpenTelemetry instrumentation, where it makes sense, and a Grafana dashboard A built-in REST API for server management A built-in MCP Server for LLMs Nidrah AI, an AI Agent to make managing the server easier Real-time server map view Chat auditing and live snooping A new Fake Players Engine with a Node logic system and a new LLM planner for any behavior Just watch the video   If there is interest in this and I'm happy with it, or I get bored (which I always do), I will open-source it. Let me know what you think and if there is some feature you'd like me to implement.
