[Discussion] What is the GFX for you?

Well i was reading many comments and suggestions here where the people show all the progress what they are making. but something special call my atention. none looks like want to have one style. i mean when some one stared to use example a Theme / Size / Animation all the others stared to use that too. so not only that. will be cool hear what is the GFX for you. let me know your opinion about that.

 

From Me: GFX is to show what you have in your mind, not just put those C4Ds / Filter and effects.

That dont decide if the art pice looks good or not. no is necesary follow tutorials and all that. yeah its usefull to learn new things and know how express much better what you have in your mind.

Before 2 years I was wanted to create games.(I am studying for programmer in my school this year) So I wanted good backgrounds for my games effects etc. So I started.

 

The other reason that I discoverd in the time I was using Photoshop is this.

GFX for me is something exordinary. I am imaging everyday things like these. I like these "supernatural" effects. When I am angry I made something dark and grunge when I am happy I make something soft with light colors. With GFX I try to express my feelings.

Actually, for me it's a way to earn money, something that I am already doing..Nothing else..

Nah, it's not a way of ispiration or saying my feelings with it ROFL...

A way for expressing my thoughs and feelings is killing people in Prototype :)

Depends on what your feelings are when you design.

For instance,I never think of a girl crying or the end of the world LOL!

The ability to express your feelings. Sometimes the signature may have the essence of power , rage , peace or even charm. Depends on your mood and on your feelings the time you are doing it.

well lol i hear many wear opinions some ones with a really point. others well w/e.

no is just to make sings, is much more. if you dont feel what you are doing you will not progress.

As they say: "A picture can say more than a thousand words", and art to be is being able to write it yourself :)... hmmm ok perhaps too philosophical

 

To me it's nice way to express taste and mood; I think someones taste really defines the style of their art, and someone mood, and ideas floating around in the head at that time, define the content. I don't take it too emotionally like 'ooh im so sad, gonna make a really sad, rainy, gritty sig now', just for example.

 

But I don't draw/design so much anymore, but I hope to find more time for it in the future... (I'm a noob compared to most active artists here...)
