rodox Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I don't use any antyvir since 4 years and I still have the same windows as 4 years ago :D But for most ppl ESET Smart Security 4 would be better because of wider protection, so I woted 1.
Phoenix4 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Smart Security is better but it is hard to find keys for it :p

rodox Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 For Avast lovers: I do often PC cleaning/reinstalling after viruses or other shit infections. Many of them were protected by Avast... others were not protected at all, or they caught sth unknown to AV (the least of cases). For most ppl I recommend Avira free (because is free and no problem with updates) or NOD32 if they wanna pay for it. Both are ressources friendly and quite efficient. Kaspersky is very good, but it takes more ressources (your PC is slower) than both mentioned above and is too sensible - I mean too many false positives. In my company I have 206 computers (199 PCs and 7 notebooks) protected by NOD32 since 5 years - none was infected.
