is it worth getting rid of game guard?

 

i come home today and its gone completely mad. every time i run L2 it telling me i got some firewall and something of the sort problem.

 

i usually play a couple of l2j servers. so what's the virdict

Well gameguard is against botting, so if you can get rid of it, DO SO :D

Delete folder Lineage>System>Gameguard Delete this folder and you will be ok:P

i have the same problem but now its ok;)

I have same problem with you :s it's kind of updating progress... I only know that we have to wait till the update end

seems to be working fine after deleting and setting the new folder and sub files to writable.

 

it was a pain in the butt. but they have some tips on the forums of the official L2 site.

seems like world wide problem with the gg...dunno, there are many servers having problem with the gg atm

official updated gameguard to make it ready for kamael, and they messed it. I think there is some line you must put in your  hosts to solve your prob

If you delete Gameguard folder and you have again problem leave it to download it alone..(Better)

You cant remove GG by deleting it, only in other way (I guess you all can find it somwhere in this forum)

Well im using bot in global. and after pc restart im launching l2 and its not getting start... i don't know what to do because i know that GG is blocking
