Server updated to Gracia Epilogue!

This is a “short” changelog, mostly having changes you may notice and not those you may don’t.

 

Fixed:

Instance: Cleanup after use.

Instance: Rim (Solo) and Party Kamaloka, Missing Drops, Rewards, NPC etc.

Instance: Pailaka 73-77 client critical error.

Instance: Awl Under Foot should be per Castle/ Fortress.

Instance: If another party kills the boss in kamaloka it will disappear for all parties inside.

Hellbound Natives: Respawn.

Skill: Gate Chant: Can not be used in combat.

Skill: Dance of medusa: Cannot be purifyed or cleansed.

Skill: Vampiric Claw: Damage is not reflected back from shield deflect magic is active.

Skill: Gehenna

Skill: Cyclone.

Skill: Volcano.

Item: Echo Crystal – Theme of Celebration: Consumption.

Active augmentation Skills: Cannot be used while in Inquisitor or any other stance.

Quest: Certified Arbalester.

Quest: More Than Meets the Eye.

Buff or use skill when Summoned/ Ported (even on SoE) = Spawn stucked.

Shadow Items: Consumption while on Offline Private Store.

Castle Siege Life Towers: Respawn.

Exploit: You can use /friendinvite spam to disable target selection of the target.

Primeval: When you attack any mob you are ported back to Primeval Isle Warf spawn.

Mobs in VoS sometimes polymorph on attack.

Using SoE in 4Sep room teleports you to target NPC.

You can teleport from GK drion with nobless teleport even if you are on a high lvl char, max lvl is 56 when entering cruma.

When staging soul crystals, inventory is not updated correctly.

Summon skill, Curse Of Shade, doesn’t aggro (really low hate) mobs.

Festival Mobs and aggro range.

Blacksmith Shadai: Spawn on in-game midnight.

Deleveled char participating in festival of darkness.

Custom: Low (20) level Anti-PK protection.

Olympiad Arena Monitor.

Frintezza: Client critical error.

When nuker’s target disappears from sight, casting should be abborted.

Mobs no longer fight back.

Item unpacking.

Mob is out of range: Skills get frozen.

If you have the effect of a Vitality Herb and pick up another, the effect you already have is gone and the new one effect is not applied.

Nobless Teleport (Giran GK)

Fortress: Suspicious Merchant NPC

If you go into Rift boss and another party comes, second boss spawns and mob respawn frozes.

Jail/ Chat Ban Timers: Do not count down.

Can’t purchase Lord’s Crown.

When player got disconnected with Zariche, he has zariche in invetory after relog.

Kamaloka Shots cannot be placed in WH.

Party range quest drop restriction

When building siege flag, it gets default stats.

Exploit: After you kill Zaken, you are not teleported away.

 

Added Improved Spawn Protection:

Instead of wasting mana, skill reuse etc on spawn protected char, attacker get message that target cannot be attacked because it is spawn protected.

Spawn protection is removed on any sign of player screen being loaded (using items, using skills, writing to chat, etc).

 

Gracia Epilogue features implemented:

Traps.

Mail System.

Skill Enchantment.

Shop System.

Safe Login.

Skill Link.

Freight Removal.

Vitality Update.

Gatekeeper Teleports.

Nobless Teleports.

New NPCs (still missing Stats, Droplist and Skills).

Kain (PvP) updates and fixes:

Server is Beta.

 

*In a try to promote PvP and eliminating afk fame-farming on random fortresses, only the Narsell Fortress is now siegeable (it's located near Coliseum).

*All previous clans that owned fortresses had those removed from ownership.

*Also added some announcements for Fortress Sieges.

*Removed NPC Restore button and added passive CP/HP/MP regeneration in peace zones.

*All PK, when killed, respawn in Floran Village.

*Changed TvT to be daily at 17.00

*Changed message that Mercenary Captain is spamming :)

*Increased landrate on bleed, poison and root skilltypes for fighters.

*Increased landrate of cancel, debuff and sleep skilltype for mages.

*Increased (slightly) landrate of derangement skilltypes (trick, switch, bluff).

*Set bluff stun duration to 3 seconds (instead of 9).

There was reported some lag @ Kain server some days ago at a siege but probably was a backbone issue, not connected to our server's connection or player's.

 

What I mean: Server is connected with all international networks via backbones. Probably one of them had problems. Shit happens but this doesn't mean our connection sucks or whatever. We don't have any responsibility of your ISP routing, neither our ISP. It is between issue. It is like blaming the bus driver for being late because at a highway had a lot of traffic. It is not bus driver fault, neither bus fault.

 

So you don't just blame a server for a random problem where server was not connected, especially at a public forum.

 

On the other hand there was many players at the same siege which had no lag at all, including me (not as player). And it was not lag, it was packet latency, which means there was slower response on targeting and killing, not stucked or frozen characters.

 

After investigation we did, those who had lag was routed from the same backbone (level3) when all the rest, from different ones. And level3 made an official report that had problems this day. Just Google it, I have no more explanations and no reason to excuse.

 

Have fun, only this matters.

Kain (PvP) updates and fixes:

Fixed mobs stats and fortress spawnlist that got overriden with Epilogue update.

[TEST] Damage Increase Cap in PvP for elemental formula.

Removed C5 Summon 10% PvP Damage penalty.

Duals have SA at +0 instead of +4.

Levelling clan from 0 to 3 is free,

3 -> 4 needs 15 members,

4->5 needs 25 members;

Armor multisells redone by Pepsi.

Added Turn Stone Forgotten Scroll to Olympiad Shop and Shadai.

Fixed HB levelling doors bug.

Re-set prices of shops and dyes to 0 adena.

(Probably) Fixed TvT npc bug.

Set adena price on skill enchant x5.

Added Small CP Potion to Item Mall.

Dynasty now should be much more easier to obtain (1 Grade difference is enough).

You can get Dynastic Essence I from fortress (Knight Epaulettes or Fame).

Vesper now needs CRP and S80 mats to buy, not fame anymore.

S80 mats are rare now, but expect to see the new epilogue areas dropping those in a near future.

To exchange Vesper for Vesper Noble, it now needs Vesper Noble Enhance Stone (drop may be added to raids/epics).

Fame is still useful for applying PvP status to weapons and armors, and for buying certain items.

Only Rune and Aden are siegeable now, until more people join.

Previous castle owners from other castles were removed from ownership (no free CRP farm).

Becoming Hero gives now 500 CRP to the clan.

Capturing a castle gives now 4000 CRP.

Defending a castle gives now 2000 CRP.

Capturing a fort gives now 200 CRP.

Increased land rates of most debuffs for fighters (mages will come next).

Fixed lv 56 teleport restriction of Cruma Tower (it was impossible to raid Core).

Added Belts to Item Mall.

Added Siege Info NPC showing info of Aden and Rune sieges.

Updated text while increasing Clan's level to show proper information.

You can teleport now to villages even if village's castle is in siege.

Main and Subclasses instant level 85.

Spawn at Aden at character creation.

Auto-learn all skills (Forgotten Scrolls and Divine Inspiration included).

No need for Giant Codex to enchant skills.

Dualboxing is not allowed.

English on shout.

No donations.

 

Rates:

x100 exp/sp/adena.

x30 attribute stones drop.

x10 drop/spoil.

x5 skill enchant adena.

x1 raid jewels.

 

Enchants:

max: 10

safe: 3

rate: 66%.

Duals SA at +0.

Rapier extra SA at +0.

The only way to obtain enchants is the retail-like way.

 

Gear:

S-Grade and below free.

Dynasty is very easy to get – IoP drop.

Dynastic Essence I – Fame, Knight Epaulettes, or Ancient Tomes of the Demon.

Dynastic Essence II – Retail-like atm (Matras Quest).

Dynasty Foundation – Replaced S-Grade Full armors/jewels drops by Dynasty Foundation items.

Icarus Weapons – Replaced S-Grade Full weapons drops by Icarus Weapons.

Vesper Gear – Ancient Tomes of the Demon, Clan Reputation Points and S80 mats.

Soul Crystals – Levelling retail-like.

You can Seal/ Unseal S80/ S84 at Maestro Ishuma

 

NPC Buffer:

Only some basic buffs available.

All buff times are retail-like.

No mana potions.

 

Subclass:

Instant 85.

Max 3.

Noble automatic on first subclass addition.

Certifications working, quest needed.

 

Olympiad:

Heroes every week, selected Mondays at 12:00

Olympiad every day from 18:00 to 00:00

Anti-Feed system

 

Raids:

All respawn times retail-like.

All raids lvl 85.

Modified Epic raids stats.

You need quest for Epics.

 

Fortress Sieges:

Fortress Siege can occur every 4h, and last 1h.

Only Narsell fortress (near coliseum) is siegeable.

 

Castle Sieges:

At the moment only Rune and Aden are siegeable. When more people join, more castles will open.

Siege dates are randomly generated.

 

Conquering a castle from another clan will give the winning clan 500 Million adena.

Conquering a castle from NPCs will give the winning clan 250 Million adena.

Defending a castle will give the winning clan 250 Million adena.

 

All this adena gets into the castle’s vault. Depending on the taxes and if your clan owns Aden or Rune, when other castle sieges are done where Aden or Rune have tax rights over them, they will charge their tax on those adena rewards aswell.

 

Clan Levelling:

Lv1: 1 Member

Lv2: 1 Member

Lv3: 1 Member

Lv4: 15 Members

Lv5: 25 Members

Level 6+ retail-like.

 

Elemental Damage Cap

How it works:

Same retail-like formula for determinating damage increased/ decreased because of elemental difference.

 

Differences:

PvP (summons and players against other summons or players):

If damage increased should be more than 25% because of elemental difference, damage increased will remain at 25%.

If damage decreased should be more than 25% because of elemental difference, damage decreased will remain at 25%.

 

PvE:

Nothing changed, original damage.
