Because white, purple and orange is a peacefully combination. It make me look at that signature and relax.

Now about the gradient that you placed,it should be on screen or overlay on 30-60 opacity!

And you could add some light!Your light source would be nice if it was placed below your render.

Make a black layer and put it on color dodge.Then grab a white 200px brush and brush only once.

Tadaam you have a light source.

Anyway put some borders too!
