How to create a CS 1.6 Server?

i think in non steam version there are 2 exe that the one is dedicated server and it works fine.You must just open 27015 port and you are ok...

If you're talking for non steam, download this http://www.baltgames.lv/v2/downloads/258/

install it and open the following file : C:/Program Files/Vlave/hlds.exe to let the others join the server you will have to forward the port that you will choose to open the server.

 

 

If you use a modem that won't allow you to open the port 27015,try to open the server on any other port.

To make a CS server with steam;all you have to do is to download a programme called dedicated server....Or if you have the original CD's you 're ok...

Then you put your IP and give it to the others;who wanna play...That's it...

if u have a steam account and u are legal (like me  ;D ) u just create a normal game.. when u enter the game u open ur console and write sv_lan 0

after that, just go to www.whatismyip.com to see ur ip, and give them to ur friends to join ur game :D

ur game could be also found in Internet Server List, while u are on this game :D
