Man, I had same sort of server plan in my head, Im just too lazy to actually do it xd;

 

  • Group Based pvp
  • Retail buff times - work together as a team to beat your enemies.
  • No NPC Buffer

 

+ Retail buff times and no npc buff is really good imo: I wonder if people realize that when you put in a npc buffer and edited buff times that you totally waste a couple of brilliant, fun-to-play and good balanced classes; like Bladedancer, Swordsinger, Warcryer etc.

 

  • High Rated - less focus on leveling.

 

+ Always good, I'd say nearly instant rates or something, and I got a suggestion as well: Make starting level either 40 or directly 80/85. I will explain further below.

 

  • GM Shop with most of the stuff available for sale.

 

+ Very well; I also suggest you make a couple of items only available by killing Raidbosses: Raidbosses are very good combinable with the Group pvp based concept, because you need to take them down in a group as well (kinda obv.)

Beside that you can create a nice trade environment in which people can, for example, trade their PvP rewards for items acquired from raids etc.

 

  • PvP Coins - kill your enemies to get better and stronger gear.
  • Various items only available by killing other players

 

- You should watch out with this, because it could be frauded by dualboxing or just killing eachother whole the time.

+ You could fix this issue by making them only available when you kill someone in an Arena (and maybe remove a couple of Arena's) so that if ppl want to get coins they really need to go to such arena, so you get much ppl.

 

Now the further explanation of the starting level: It's just lame the way ppl need to make their reputation points in most High rate servers: by keep making alts and inviting them to academy. If they start 40 or 41 or just direct 80/85, they can't get points this way.

 

You then could make reputation points sellable, for PvP points or w/e, but you could also add them to Raidbosses so that they give reputation points to the raiding clan group. This way you could also add clan skill crystals to these Raidbosses etc.

 

If you advance this clan reputation concept you could also change the points given (or taken) from Sieges, because it is a good event and of course perfectly fitting for the group based PvP

 

 

I hope you like these suggestions, and other people; feel free to use them as well

i have a idea :D but it will be stupid... humans to can take only human buffs (pp,bushop) elfs only elf buffs (Sws,EE) dark elfs dark elven buffs (SE,BD) orks ork buff (WC, OL) kamael kamael buff (all kamael buffs) and dwarfs..... dont know :D

I play low rates where are no npc buffers, but on high rates cmon ... The reason why ppl play high rates is that they wouldn't have to play with support classes ...

i don't like servers with pvp coin because u r obliged to have at least a titan or duelist

Why is that ? Care to elaborate that ?

Support classes do more than just buffing, healing, debuffs, etc. Just because you never bothered to play one, doesn't mean that everyone has the same opinion as you.

We discussed the Buffer issue internally, and we'll be adding a NPC Buffer, but, only a few selected buffs will be available, so that it won't be a complete waste to use a support class.

 

Does that sound more appealing for you guys ?
